The AT&T On-Call Contract was awarded to GPW as a joint alliance with an Architect firm in Topeka, Kansas. The Topeka firm was seeking a Minority Engineering firm that met and exceeded their expectations in engineering quality, design, and deliverables. The Topeka firm’s experience with Minority Firms was extensive and none had met their standards of engineering expertise. The project approach and goal were to develop a high level of engineering expertise with which to deliver projects within budget and on schedule for the 4-state area of Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Projects focused on Boilers and Early Warning Fire Detection Systems. GPW fine-tuned their deliverables by creating a system of checks and balances at each phase of a project that held the project team accountable for scope changes, design variances, and budgets.
